The flowers start off white but get brown when it is dry. It is supposed to be good for ailments of the throat like cough, colds, sore throat but I don't know and have never used it. I guess you boil the leaves and inhale the vapor or make a tea out of the flowers. Someday I am going to try it and see what happens. I don't know if this is the same stuff you make buckwheat pancakes out of.

Sage - Kuchas We used them for play arrows. Supposed to be good if you rub it on an ant bite. If you burn the leaves it is supposed to do something about ghosts. If you boil it and take a bath in it it is suppose to help your sores. All I ever did was make it into arrows.

Manzanita - HaSilth I've seen people use the berries to make something like cool aid. I never drank it but is is supposed to taste sweet.

Greasewood - Hamuchi

I never got this project off the ground, at lest not yet.
